September 2017: We are very pleased to announce that Bruce Lindstrom has joined UNITED Fire Systems as Business Development Manager. Bruce has more than 30 years of experience in safety and security sales, and has developed strong nationwide distribution networks for several companies. Bruce will be on the road seeking out and developing firms who will succeed with UNITED Fire Systems products. Along with that effort, he will be working with the fire protection engineering community, acquainting them with the benefits of our products and collaborating on the writing of effective specifications. Bruce is keen to be the face of UNITED Fire Systems throughout the United States.
June 2017: We are very pleased to welcome our new Technical Publications Specialist, Stephen Markowitz, to the UNITED Fire Systems staff. Steve brings more than 30 years experience in document preparation, technical writing, and copy editing to the UFS team. Steve will be working to keep all UFS marketing documentation and instruction manuals up-to-date and useful for all. We are excited to have Steve on board, and we’re sure Steve’s experience and expertise will make all of our publications better.
March 2017: UNITED Fire Systems is pleased to announce the promotion of Jonathan Kleber to Quality Manager. Jonathan joined the company as Lead Manufacturing Technician in January of 2014, and has demonstrated significant aptitude while implementing the UFS Quality Manual in our manufacturing environment. Jonathan is Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified by the Institute for Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE), and aspires to higher levels of certification, perhaps all the way to Master Black Belt. Users of UNITED Fire Systems products can be assured that the highest possible quality standards are being used to design, assemble and test their products under Jonathan’s watchful eye.
